About Big Wag Energy

Big Wag Energy started because we got tired of the same generic dog advice recycled across a hundred different websites. You know the kind — vague, overly cautious, clearly written by someone who's never actually cleaned up a Goldendoodle's blowout coat at 11pm on a Tuesday.

So we built something different. A dog site that's actually useful, run by people (and one very opinionated Goldendoodle) who live this stuff every day.

Meet Winston

Winston is a Goldendoodle who lives with his family in the US. He's the face of Big Wag Energy and our unofficial product tester, taste tester, and nap quality assessor. You can follow his daily adventures on @winstonfromwinston.

What We Cover

We write about dogs. All of them. Every breed, every size, every personality. Our content falls into a few categories:

• Breed guides — real, detailed profiles for 50+ breeds with honest pros, cons, and costs
• Product reviews — stuff we've actually tested (or Winston has destroyed)
• Health articles — clear, vet-informed guides on common conditions and symptoms
• General dog advice — training, nutrition, behavior, and all the stuff new dog owners wish they knew

Our Promise

We don't oversell breeds, fake product reviews, or pretend to be veterinarians. If something needs a vet, we'll tell you to call a vet. If a product is mediocre, we'll say so. We'd rather have your trust than your click.

This site does contain affiliate links — they keep the lights on and Winston in treats. But we only recommend stuff we'd actually use (and in many cases, stuff we do actually use).
