Affiliate Disclosure
Short version: some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we get a small cut. It doesn't cost you a penny more, the price is exactly the same whether you use our link or go straight to the retailer.
How Affiliate Links Work
When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, the retailer knows you came from us and sends us a small percentage of the sale. That's it. We don't see your personal info, and you don't pay extra.
Our Affiliate Partners
We currently participate in the following affiliate programs:
- Amazon Associates — As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases
- Chewy, Pet food, supplies, and pharmacy products
- The Farmer's Dog, Fresh dog food delivery
- Embark Veterinary, Dog DNA and health testing kits
- BarkBox, Monthly subscription boxes for dogs
- Lemonade, Pet insurance
- PetPlate, Fresh cooked dog food delivery
- Fi, Smart GPS dog collars
This list is updated as we add or remove affiliate partnerships.
Does This Affect What We Recommend?
No. We've recommended products that don't have affiliate programs because they were the best option. And we've skipped products with great payouts because they weren't worth your money. Winston (our Goldendoodle) has actually tested a lot of the stuff we review, and we include honest pros and cons every time.
Why We Use Affiliate Links
Hosting costs money. Research takes time. Winston's treat budget is frankly unreasonable. Affiliate commissions help cover all of that. If you buy through our links, it's a free way to keep this site running, and we appreciate it.
